I have had the opportunity to serve as the school counselor at Madison Elementary School since 2004. I received my undergraduate degree from Drake University and my master’s degree from Iowa State University. I also love to continue to learn by taking classes and attending conferences so that I can improve my skills and abilities as a school counselor.
At Madison, I work with students individually, in small groups, and in large group during weekly classroom counseling. My work with students focuses on social/emotional development, academic success, and career exploration.  I want all of our students to be successful when it comes to their attendance, behavior, and achievement!
In my free time, I love to spend time with my family and friends, travel, and read a good book!
