Grandparent/Special Person Day: Nov. 22nd

Madison School’s Annual Grandparent’s Day will be held on Friday, November 22nd at 1:30 P.M.  (Please do not arrive prior to 1:20.)

Grandparents and other special adult friends are invited to visit our school. The celebration will begin with an assembly for all guests in the gym at 1:30. There will be entertainment, refreshments and door prizes. After the assembly, guests are welcome to visit the classrooms of their special students, meet the teachers and tour the building. Guests may then choose to sign students out for  the remainder of the afternoon to visit local educational spots (such as the Des Moines Art Center, the Botanical Center, the Historical Museum, the Science Center, or the public library), spend quality time together reading or playing old-fashioned board games, or go out for a special treat.  We look forward to meeting your grandparents on November 22nd!
