No Cost Meals Available this Fall at Madison

Students at 35 Des Moines schools and three learning centers can now eat breakfast and lunch at no cost because of a special U.S. Dept. of Agriculture program targeting high poverty schools throughout the U.S. The move will ensure students are focused on learning and not on hunger. The President’s Committee on the Arts and the Humanities today announced the expansion of the Turnaround Arts initiative. Bell Times Change at Madison this Fall

Students at 19 elementary schools, including Madison Elementary, will adjust their schedule by 10 minutes this fall. It’s a move that will give bus drivers much needed time to get from school to school.
