Phenomenal 4th graders!

The fourth graders in Mrs. Stephanie Maher and Ms.Staci Kuehl’s classes have been discovering how they may use the Place Value Model to multiply large numbers. Students are able to explain how they break large numbers apart into expanded form to find the partial products. To get the total product, they know to put the partial products back together by adding. They are able to record their thinking in their math journals. These fourth graders LOVE multiplying with large numbers!
