Madison Gives To Storm Victims

To help victims of recent storms, Madison held a read-a-thon on December 6th to raise money. Students raised the money for storm victims in the Philippines, Ohio, Kentucky, and Illinois.  $714 was raised!  This money was given to the American Red Cross. This is the second annual Madison Cares Read-a-Thon. A representative from the Red Cross came to accept the money that was raised and to thank the kids. With the money that Madison kids raised, the Red Cross could buy 20 blankets, 50 snacks, 20 hot meals, 2 cribs, and provide six families with clean up kits. Way to go, Madison!
