Worms, Isopods, And Dirt, Oh My!

First graders have been learning about worms and isopods during science! They have had a chance to read about and complete hands-on investigations with red wigglers, earthworms, pill bugs, and sow bugs. Students compared the physical characteristics of the two types of worms and the two types of isopods and had a blast digging in the soil!  The students learned that all of Earth’s creatures are important and helpful!
