Madison Up-Standers
During the month of March, Madison students worked on the skills to be “up-standers” during classroom counseling time. Up-standers are those who stand up for themselves and others in difficult situations. One of the most important aspects of being an up-stander is being respectful. When we are faced with a difficult situation, whether a problem with a friend or seeing someone treated badly, an up-stander will have the skills to respond respectfully and solve the problem.
