Fun Summer Reading Program!

The Des Moines Public Library and its branches offer great summer reading programs for student during the summer months. A staff member from the library came and visited with the Madison students about the summer opportunities on Thursday, May 8th. After a presentations about all of the fun activities planned for this summer’s program, students witnessed a science experiment that got them even more excited! Please encourage your children to visit the library to participate in the fun activities and programs and to check out lots of fascinating books. The 2014 summer reading program, Fizz, Boom, Read, begins on June 9th and end on July 19th. Contact your local library for more information.
