Magnificent Music at Madison

We are off to a good start in the Music room this year at Madison. We are back to the basics- finding and keeping a steady beat, discovering how sounds can be long or short, high or low, and loud or soft. We have been amazed at how musicians over past couple centuries have all found so many different ways to use beat, pitch and volume to share so many different feelings through the sounds they create! We are excited to learn more about how to listen, create, read and write about the different ways sound affects us and can’t wait to put these skills to use at the performances we will attend and take part in this year!
