Science and Movement!

Madison students are excited to welcome a special guest this week. Randy Barron, a teaching artist from the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts is visiting to work with first and fourth grade students and teachers. The goal of his visit is to help teachers learn how to connect science to the arts. Mr. Barron is going to teach the students a science lesson incorporating movement. After the lessons he will meet with teachers to explain his strategy and teach them other ways to use movement to teach science. We are very fortunate to have such a great opportunity!
