English Language Learners Work in Small Groups

English learners are engaged in rigorous tasks! This year, Madison school is increasing emphasis on working on small groups with peer support.  This allows students to develop their skills of finding evidence to support their ideas.  By working in small groups with their peers, students have ongoing opportunities to read, write, speak, and listen in English.  Students work to develop language proficiency in multiple subjects throughout the day.
