Third, Fourth, And Fifth Graders Are Gearing Up To Take Iowa Assessments

The Iowa Assessments allow growth to be measured by using vertically scaled (or articulated) scores, called standard scores. These scores plot out all students, regardless of grade level, on a continuum of student achievement. Standard scores describe a student’s location on an achievement continuum. Using standard scores, we can understand the growth students make from year to year. Other exciting news is that Madison’s drama club is busy preparing to perform.  There will be two performances showcasing out talented students. The first performance will take place the evening of April 12th at Harding Middle School at 6:00 p.m. In addition our drama club has been selected to perform with other Northside schools at Hoyt Sherman Place on, April 27th at Hoyt Sherman at 1:00 p.m. Admission is free and open to public. We would love to see community support their hard work and talent.
